The Betta Channoides, or Snakehead Betta, is a rare and captivating wild betta from the peat swamps and slow-moving blackwater streams of Borneo. Named for its elongated, snakehead-like profile, this species is a paternal mouthbrooder — the male incubates the eggs in his mouth until the fry are free-swimming, a behaviour that's mesmerizing to witness up close.
A true gem for the experienced betta keeper or wild betta enthusiast looking to add something extraordinary to their collection.
